1870 Foundation of the Residency School
1875 The Residency School becomes Residency College
1876 Mr. Aberigh Mackay takes over as the First Principal of the Residency College
1882 Full separation of Rajkumar College from Indore Residency School
1882 Rajkumar classes moved from Indore Residency College to Boarding House & was called the Indore Residency Rajkumar College
1885 The new building of Daly College was inaugurated by Viceroy Lord Dufferin
  J.W.D. Johnstone becomes the First Pricipal of the Daly College
1891 Formation of Gwalior Boarding House by Gwalior State
1894 First Kumar to pass Matriculation Exam - Sardar Madho Rao Kibe of Indore
1905 Plan for new building was prepared by Colonel Sir Swinton Jacob
1906 Work for new building was started by Public Works Depatt.
  Mr. Parcy Hide was appointed Principal
1908 Principal House , Hospital building were completed
1909 South Boarding House was completed
1910 North Boarding House was completed 
  Temple, Mosque were completed
1912 Inauguration of the Main building by Viceroy, Lord Hardinge
  Classes in Main building were shifted
1918 Training school for Indian Army Cadets
1940 First Chief's College to become full-fledged Public school
1948 Registered as a society
1956 Mr. R.N. Zutshi becomes the first Indian Principal
