Let me introduce myself first and hope you rember me i was in daly college from 1976 to 1983 .I am sailing
as a Master Mariner in foreign company .My name is Anil and i was in Ashok house (house master was J.S Bajwa )
.I have some sweet memories of Daly college can you help me in contacting my friends Rajneesh Jain,Rajesh
Dubey ,Yash chopra etc.On the Website i checked no information of J.S.Bajwa, Mr DIXIt, Mrs Jutshi etc . How is

Myself Dr Akshara Gupta nee Lahari from 1982 passout batch. I am Mr Arun Mohan Lahari,s
daughter. If u remember him, he was teaching and conducting cultural activities at the school till he passed away in 2000 due to heart failure.
Ms Malkani had taught me too. She was a wonderful woman and I still remember those years of reading
look, listen and learn.

Dear Subodh,
I will re-introduce myself to you , as we are having correspondence after a gap of 22 years.
I was also in 1979-1985 batch staying in Rajendra House in Daly College
Indore and was like you, a government of India Scholar. Our parental place is also nearby in approx 20 KM range.It may be of interest to know about my
career path after I passed from Daly College.
I did my B.Tech & M.Tech in Civil Engineering, both from BHU. Subsequently I started my career in Public sector undertaking
(Govt of India) and is presently working as Structural Manager in Boiler division for various power plants projects in Larsen
& Toubro Ltd based in Delhi / NCR. Now I am sure you would have remebered me. I will be glad to know your
journey after Daly College. Also share afbout your family, place of residence etc... Let me know if you are in touch with other friends of our
batch.
I really appreciate that you have given a wonderful tribute to our teacher Ms. G.B. Malkani , who was almost like God to us.
We picked up English in a span of 6 months and was doing as good other friends in English , who had been studying English for
the last so many years. All this beacause of that great lady.
Whatever position we are in , it is because of her hard work and her selfless attitude.The book which you have mentioned "
Look, Listen & Learn " was wonderfully taught to us by ma'm. I would say that with what whatever adjectives we describe her
will be still insufficient as her virtues and dedication was highly commnedable.
I also remember Ms. Sarita Bhadwar who taught so well to us.There were other memories like playing various games in
departmental sports where we had healthy competition.
Website developed by you is superb which brought all the memories back to me after a gap of 22 years.I also have photograph
receiving prizes from A.S. Vaidya etc but the way you have preserved and presented in the site is excellent.
Keep me posted on the alumni details and else.

Hi All,
It's a great idea to have a website for the Dalians. Like me there are end number of schoolmates who would like to get in
touch with each other and continue to remain in touch. We may like to share our nostalgia about everything about the school -
the class rooms, the food, bunking classes and of course, the teachers.
I congratulate Subodh Sinha for the initiative and sincerely hope that the 'Daly College - Reminiscence' grows to repesnt all
the Dalians in near future.
