cricket legends, Raj Singh Dungarpur and Hanumant Singh
Banswara. It was in 2000, another Dalian, Sohel Chawla,

absolutely unique as the gates were linked to the college
motto, "Knowledge is Power".

coming together for their own celebrations. The Chief Guest at
this APG was Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the first industrialist to be

Patron of the College.

The
Public school system normally makes heroes of only its
sportsmen. It was decided now to give equal recognition to
those performing well in academics, cultural & service
activities. Extra classes were introduced for even the high
achievers. To strengthen communication skills, Language
Laboratories were introduced in Junior & Senior Schools
and public speaking at Assemblies in rotation was made
compulsory for all students.
The
college participated for the first time in IPSC Cultural
Festival and was placed fifth out of sixteen schools
from across the country. This prompted the introduction of
inter-House dramatics, choreography, music & dance
competitions. As a result a lot of dormant talent was
unearthed & unleashed. Plans were announced for a Craft
Technology Design Centre (CTDC).
